Brody in the Morning

Every morning, when I get Brody out of bed, he stands and points up at the fan and says "Dat!" He gets pretty excited about fans, I think he worships them. He goes on to point at all of his favorite things in his room and say "Dat!" at everything.

Before I got in there today, he managed to pull down his monitor. We need to find a better place for that now that he can reach to the top of his crib.

Mini Moran Family Reunion

Last weekend there was a Mini Moran Family Reunion in Fort Lauderdale. Many of Laura's Aunts and Uncles were in town to visit. We had a great time catching up with everybody. Here are some pictures of Brody with his Great-Aunts and Great-Uncles.

Visit from Uncle Tom and Grandma Moran

We are looking forward to a big family visit from many of the Moran family members this weekend (Laura's aunts and uncles). We started it off tonight with a visit from Uncle Tom and Grandma Moran. We enjoyed the best pizza in town, Pompano Pizza.



Brody is definitely not a picky eater. He eats everything in sight. He even eats flowers as you can see from the pictures below.




Check out the shiner on Brody! He was in his first UFC fight over the weekend. You should see the other guy. We have a champion wrestler on our hands. Coach Pettineo better still be coaching in 15 years.

Brody in his Crib

The other day I went to put Brody down for a nap, however he decided that a nap wasn't in the cards. He quickly stood up and started pressing the buttons on the rainforest noise maker. Then, he went over to the side of the crib and stood there looking at me as if to say "Where are you going?" I picked him up, laid him back down and quickly walked out of the room. Of course he stood right back up, but I let him stand there for a while until he became so tired that he would fall asleep. I noticed on the monitor that he had fallen asleep while sitting up and leaning on the side of the crib. I went in to check on him and found Brody in quite the awkward position as you can see from the picture below. Of course, Laura says these things only happen to me!
