Merry Christmas

Brody and Chase had a very Merry Christmas. We started the fun a few days early by visiting with Uncle Tom and Grandma Moran. Grandma Moran is always a gracious hostess. Now we know where Mimi and Mommy get it.

The weekend before Christmas, Grandma and Grandpa Sheffer came down to visit and stayed with us. They are always a big help and it is fun to stay up and chat with the night owls.

On Christmas Eve, Grandma Thomas came over for breakfast and to open presents. We enjoyed Laura's World Famous Baked French Toast (at least it should be world famous). She loves to see the boys open their presents. Brody is so polite. He is even happy and thankful when he is opening clothes that she has bought him.

We went to Christmas Eve Mass at St Anthony's then on to The Costa's for dinner. The boys had a great time playing with Dylan. They are eagerly awaiting his little brother's arrival.

After the boys opened their gifts from Santa Claus, Laura's family came over and we had another batch of her World Famous Baked French Toast. It was a great time. Christmas Afternoon we went over to the Melnicoff House for the Annual Beef Tenderloin Feast which hit the spot as always!

Thanksgiving

We took our annual trip up to visit the rest of the Melnicoff Family in Port St. Lucie for Thanksgiving. We have wonderful tradition of visiting with family on Wednesday night at the Residence Inn where we stay (great hotel, terrific happy hour buffet), playing golf on Thursday morning with the guys, and enjoying Grandma's feast and watching football with family Thursday afternoon. It is always a highlight of the year.

Also, the week before Thanksgiving, Brody's class had a wonderful lunch celebration. It was a really fun time that gave us an opportunity to visit with Brody's classmates and their parents.
