Trip to North Carolina

We visited the Moran Family in North Carolina this past weekend. We got to visit with Aunt Ellen and Uncle George who were also in town. This was Brody's first visit with his second cousins. We did all sorts of fun activities. We played golf, tennis, basketball and even had a ping pong tournament. Unfortunately, the Morans capitalized on their home table advantage and dominated. We also had a big night of watching college football on Saturday night along with a tasty cookout. We look forward to our next trip to NC. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Brody's Two Front Teeth

Brody's two front teeth have broken through. That brings the total up to 4 teeth so far. We haven't been able to get a picture of them yet, but when we do we will post them.

Brody got the flu shot on Wednesday. He took it like a champ. He literally didn't realize it had been done. He got the shot in his leg and he has tree trunks for legs so that might have something to do with it. They weighed him while we were at the doctor's office and he is up to 20 lbs.

Brody's First Marlins Game

Brody went to his first Marlins game today. Actually, he went to his first two games because it was a doubleheader. The Marlins lost to the Phillies 9-3 in the first game. Maybe we were bad luck because the Marlins came back and won the second game 3-0 after we left. It would have been nice to get two wins, but we will take the split.

8 Months

Brody is 8 months old today! Here is a picture with his proud mother.
