Here is video of Brody getting into trouble around the house. He is pretty funny about it though. It is hard to get mad at the little guy.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a fun Labor Day weekend. We made a trip down to the Aventura Mall mainly for their kids play area. It is way too hot for the outdoor playgrounds during this time of year. Another reason for the trip is to eat at Chicken-Now. It is a place in the food court that has a chicken finger box that is similar to a Zaxby's chicken finger plate. They have the special sauce that is very close, but not exactly Zax Sauce. Since we don't have Zaxby's, Guthrie's, or Raising Cane's down here in South Florida, Chicken-Now will have to do.








On Labor Day, we went to visit with our friends Joel, Tracy and their daughter Bridget. Oh yeah, Matt was there too. Grill-master Joel treated us to the most amazing blue-cheese burgers. You can see that Brody had a great time visiting with Bridget.

Brody at 19 Months

Brody is a real character. He seems to pick up new words everyday. Lately he loves the number five. When we count with him we say "One, two, three, four..." then he holds up his 5 fingers and says "Five!" Finally, the other day he said four. He seems to be going backwards with his counting. He has also picked up on the word "out" when it comes to baseball. Whenever he sees baseball on TV, he yells "Out!"



Brody had so much fun at Piper's 2nd Birthday Party. Miss Sue did a great job with the kids.


This kid on the right was amazing at the party. He was having a grand ole time. You can see Brody was in awe of his moves.

Trip to Naples

We took a family trip over to Naples this past weekend. We had a great time. Here are some highlights from the weekend (my golf game definitely wasn't one of them).

U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle

Last weekend, we visited our friend Jeff on the U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle. Jeff is stationed on the ship for the next 2 years. There are many interesting stories about the ship. One of them being that it was originally a German ship which was taken by the United States after World War II as a war prize. Here are some pictures from our trip.
