Summer with Mom

The boys had a great summer vacation with Mom. Brody worked on his reading and writing, while Chase worked on his swimming and putting on his clothes by himself. Brody and Chase had a great time playing with all of their friends, but they also can't wait to go to the same school together in the fall.

4th of July

The Melnicoff's had the Annual 4th of July party for Jack's Birthday. It was a great time as always. This year we celebrated with a Curious George pinata. Later in the day we went to Aunt Ellen and Uncle George's new condo to watch the fireworks. We were lucky enough to also happen to see baby turtles hatching and going out to sea. It was pretty cool stuff.

Chase's 3rd Birthday

Chase had his 3rd birthday party a few weeks back. The party had a Frozen theme. We were also fortunate enough to have our local fire department stop by. The kids really loved getting a tour of the fire engine. We want to thank everybody that came to the party and celebrated with Chase. We all had a very special day!

Easter Sunday

This was our first Easter in the new house. Here are a couple of fun videos of the kids getting their Easter baskets and doing their first Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Egg Hunt is pretty funny. You'll notice Chase stopping to open each egg to see what was inside as he retrieved them.

Skateboarding

Brody took his first skateboarding lesson on Friday. He'll be a better boarder than me after his second lesson. We think it will be good for him to take some falls and to know that you just have to get right back up and keep on going. Life lessons for kids. :-)

Brody Playing Golf

Here is a video of Brody learning to play golf. It is part of the instructional program at Holiday Park. Phil does a great job getting the kids excited about golf as you can see. Unfortunately for us, he is a lefty, so he won't be getting any hand-me-down clubs.
