Trip to Philadelphia
Our family vacation this summer was to Philadelphia for George and Suzanne's Wedding. We had an awesome trip! We were blown away at how nice the Center City portion of Philly was. We had a great stay in the Embassy Suites, which was very close to all the fun museums. We had a great time at the Franklin Institute. There is so much to see there, we couldn't do everything in the few hours we had. I loved the train room that told the history of the steam engine in the United States. I also enjoyed the satellite display that showed how far away the satellites orbit earth. The best part was the planetarium show, To Space & Back. We also enjoyed a Phillies game with Big Uncle Jack. Taking the train to the game was very convenient. The rehearsal dinner at Top of the Tower was amazing. What a great New York strip steak that was! Not to mention George hooked it up with a top quality IPA at the bar. The wedding was the topping on the cake. There was an incredible cocktail hour with a million different appetizers. The DJ was great and the steak dinner was terrific. What a cool venue. We can't say enough how great our trip was from Philly. The boys talk about how much they love Philly all the time. They can't wait to go back! Who would have thought Philly would be this awesome, since my only experience there was getting ripped off on tickets to a Phillies game at the Vet during my road trip with Bill.

Summer with Mom
The boys had a great summer vacation with Mom. Brody worked on his reading and writing, while Chase worked on his swimming and putting on his clothes by himself. Brody and Chase had a great time playing with all of their friends, but they also can't wait to go to the same school together in the fall.

4th of July
The Melnicoff's had the Annual 4th of July party for Jack's Birthday. It was a great time as always. This year we celebrated with a Curious George pinata. Later in the day we went to Aunt Ellen and Uncle George's new condo to watch the fireworks. We were lucky enough to also happen to see baby turtles hatching and going out to sea. It was pretty cool stuff.
